Penelope Cruz was on hand to present an award at the 2012 BAFTA Awards tonight in London.

The Spanish actress chose a wine-red custom Armani Privé column gown.

Her strapless floor-length dress features an angular bodice and a draped detail around her waist giving it a structured feel.

She let the dress do all the talking with minimalistic styling which only included silver sparkling earrings, nude lips and a loose updo.

The colour is great on her and perfectly complimented her dark looks, but I don’t like her bangs.

Penelope will also be in attendance at the 2012 Oscar awards ceremony on Feb. 26 at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles.
