Hilary Swank attended the 3rd Annual amfAR Inspiration Gala New York which took place at The New York Public Library on Thursday night.

The actress opted to wear a retro ladylike look fresh from the Marc Jacobs Resort 2013 collection.

Her white dress with a black lace overlay and a structural pleated tea-length skirt was paired with a black clutch and simple black peep-toes.

Wearing her hair in a slicked back style, she added some colour via her red nail polish and pulled the look together with delicate drop earrings and a hint of lip gloss.

I'm not loving this on Hilary... That length it’s not very flattering.
