Giambattista Valli showcased his exquisite Spring 2012 Haute Couture collection during Paris Fashion Week.
Cocktail designs in a monochromatic colour scheme featured sculpted shoulders, feathered peplums, flared skirts and sheer tops with feminine touches of lace and sequins.
Floral embellishments, draped details and oversized bows appeared throughout the collection giving it a delicate and graceful appeal which only enriched the fairytale, timeless aspect of the collection.
Golden flowers worn over clothes as necklaces and collars created an incredible effect.
As for the belts and large floral headpieces which topped models' heads, were all jewelry pieces, courtesy of Luigi Scialanga.
The old-school haute couture glamour was reinforced in the final part of the show as Valli continued to wow the audience with several black and white ball gowns with splashes of red, aubergine, polka dot and orchid prints.
The ready-to-wear chiffon gowns looked surprisingly comfortable as the models wearing them moved with an ease even with the enormous flouncy trains.
Can't wait to see these amazingly beautiful looks gracing the red carpet.
