The Spring 2012 collection by Burberry Prorsum presented during London Fashion Week was inspired in Africa.

The brand’s traditional trenches were presented in both cropped and oversize versions with sporty and sophisticated vibes in vivid hues, stripes and ankara prints.

Highwaisted softly pleated and ruched skirts, cocktail dresses with sexy keyholes and splits and printed knits came down the runway in a palette of turquoise, ochre, brown, yellow, purple, burgundy and indigo green.

Key accessories included tribal inspired multi-coloured beaded belts, statement necklaces and wedges with ankle beads, platform peep-toe booties and sandals, striped pompom caps, striped harness leather belts and oversized leather bags.
